It was also raining. Thunder and rain in the morning is one of my very favorite things especially living out here in the Sahara. However, it just happened too early. When I woke up a couple of hours later the rain had stopped. Boo to that.

We were awakened by the same storm, also with a scared, shaking, panting dog. Surprisingly Spencer slept through the whole thing.
I took a nap yesterday, so I wasn't tired at night so I didn't go to bed until 1:30. I think I had just barely fallen asleep when the storm started. Then it was probably 4:30 before I was asleep again. Looks like another nap will be in the plans for today.
