For about two months now when I'm on the treadmill I have a slight pain (more like an ache) on the back of my right calf. I googled it and a woman with similar symptoms was told she might have a blood clot. What?!? That doesn't sound good. Ever since I read that my symptoms seem worse.
Stupid Google. I miss the days of just making my own non-scary assumptions.

I don't really know anything about blood clots in the leg, other than they are called deep vein thrombosis. I think you are at greater risk for them if you're on birth control pills and after childbirth.
I do know that the word clot is in the top 10 for grossest sounding words.
google makes all of my fears worse haha
I hope you don't mind, I saw your link on Janet's blog and thought I'd see what you were up to.
Blood clots in the leg happen more often than you would think and can be serious. Does your calf feel warm? Does it measure bigger than the one that doesn't hurt? If you're on birth control pills that increases your risk.
I had pretty bad left calf pain approx 3 years ago and my doctor ordered an ultasound...no clot thank goodness...but he did take me off the pill.
FYI-I've been banned from googling symptoms

I thought I had a blood clot while I was preggers with Justin. Freaked me out! Had to be seen... but it was just a fluke. Can't hurt to get it checked out! Google isn't good for me either!
Oh no! I do the same thing with google then make myself worry so much.
I would check it out with the doc if you are worried. (however I am not one to talk, I have a pain in my back for over a month now and still have not gone to the doctor! not good)
yikes! maybe you should get it checked out.
