John's gelato cake...
As it turns out gelato cake was a better idea than it was cake. It was very VERY rich. We think maybe that's why they give you those itty bitty stick spoons to use while eating gelato...

Hope is birthday was fabulous! Even though we have a bunch of birthdays in a row.... everyone still gets their own cake! It's a birthday must!
My brother's birthday is always right around Thanksgiving. Sometimes he got pumpkin pie for his birthday, and that was by his request! What flavor gelato was the cake? At least it looked good. Very festive and pretty.

The gelato flavor was Toblerone. Maybe it wouldn't have been so rich if we had gotten something like regular chocolate.
