Mondays just keep on coming. Remember when I came home from Hawaii and I said I had the aloha spirit in me? Well, it lasted for the rest of summer break and a few days after I started working and now it's gone...completely. I'm so sad about that.
So this week it's my mission to get it back. I love the aloha spirit. It makes everything (even lunch duty) a pleasant experience.
Looking at pictures like this one may help me to get back into the Hawaiian mindset...
Listening to Jason Mraz radio on Pandora helps too. Wish me luck in getting my alohaness back.

Don't let the aloha spirit slip away! You can find it!!
You are doing the right things! Looking at pics, listening to Jason mraz. Just sway through lunch duty as if you were in Hawaii. hehee :)
It's hard to recapture the aloha spirit when you are in an IEP meeting in Guadalupe. I know that from personal experience. Maybe you can get a little Japanese spirit at Benihana this weekend. Are you able to make it?
Happiness and suffering are states of mind, and so their main causes cannot be found outside the mind.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
I need some Alohaness myself! Good luck!
Your blog got me thinking so i googled "the aloha spirit." The very first sight that came up was on geocities.com. It says that the spirit of aloha is actually a law on the books in Hawaii.. that it was a gift presented to the people of Hawaii by the native Hawaiians. You should really check it out!!! Below is what aloha actually stands for:
Akahai, meaning kindness to be expressed with tenderness;
Lôkahi, meaning unity, to be expressed with harmony;
`Olu`olu, meaning agreeable, to be expressed with pleasantness;
Ha`aha`a, meaning humility, to be expressed with modesty;
Ahonui, meaning patience, to be expressed with perseverance
